I sold a baking item a few weeks ago, listed its measurements had photos and said what it could be used for. Today I get a message saying its not what they expected and can they return it.
Grrrr, I don't understand how they could have thought it was any different.
I'll just have to accept it back and try to recoup my costs the next time I sell it.

If you're a private seller you won't, if it's as described
if you're a business then yes, you will0 -

I understand what you're saying but could you elaborate?
I thought the main difference between a private and business seller was a business seller had to abide by the Distance Selling Regulations. As the item was bought weeks ago they wouldn't apply.
If the buyer files a SNAD with Paypal then does it matter whether the seller is a private or business seller? Regardless it is virtually impossible to prove the item is as described and don't Paypal usually give the benefit of any doubt to the buyer? It may sometimes seem like I can't spell, I can, I just can't type0 -
I am with Myonlypost on this, regardless of 'rights' a buyer only has to say item is SNAD and claim will almost certainly be found in their favour by paypal.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I'm only accepting the return because I don't want to risk them opening a case or possibly damaging the item so I can't resell it.
Still don't know what they thought they were getting.S.P.C member 1662 - target £3000 -
The trouble is, with eBay apps on phones, the info the buyer gets is scant to say the least. I have more problems with 'via iPhone' purchases than any other. Plus is the app isn't the latest version there are blips with free postage and negative feedback showing a bit green dot - they select green thinking they are leaving you great feedback but it transposes to a juicy red. I have had 9 this month with the green dot problem! Fortunately eBay will change them.0
