DSR. Do I have to pay to return an item?

I have bought a TV from an internet company and it is not very good. I want to return it within the 7 day period but their terms and conditions state that I have to pay to return it. I'm sure I read somewhere that it is up to them to pay.
Can anyone help on this?

Even if you are a minority of one, the truth is the truth.

I think you can ask them to arrange collection at their own expense, although most people pay to send stuff back.
I'm not sure whether their terms are actually legally binding if they specify they will only accept items returned at the customers own expense?Unless specifically stated all posts by me are my own considered opinion.
If you don't like my opinion feel free to respond with your own.0 -
If the item is being returned under the DSRs, and if their terms and condiitons say so, you have to pay for the return.
If there is a quality issue under the Sale of Goods Act, and you have rejected the item, then they have to pay for the return. But their has to be a clear not fit for purpose issue with the item, not just that you don't like it.0 -
You can ask them to refund initial postage costs though if there were any. I think you can only ask them to pay for the return if the TV is faulty or damaged upon delivery.0

As above, if it's just a change of mind, you will have to pay for the returns (as it states in their T&Cs). They must refund you the full amount you paid, including any initial delivery charge - they can't charge restocking fees or anything like that if you are returning under DSR.Squirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
