Pension Credit late payment

I have been in receipt of Pension Credit for more than two years (I think) but this week it has not arrived in my bank account. It usually comes in at the same time as my SP on a Monday.
I am wondering if the payment has been affected by the public sector strike? However the SP payment was not affected.
If it's not in the bank tomorrow I shall phone up to find out what has happened to it but wondered if anyone else has had the same problem?

Have you come to the end of your AIP?
It is quite common for the Pension Service to stop payments without prior notice only for you to find a letter pushed through your letterbox 10 days later explaining that the PC is coming to an end and that information will be required of you for them to determine a new AIP in due course.
I have heard of cases where 8/10 weeks slip by before anymore money is released.
As for contacting the Pension Service, I wish you very good luck. They are one of the worst parts of the whole DWP agency for not answering letters or in giving decent information.
No doubt you will get through to the call centre who will not have any info on your case and will promise to send an email in order that someone can telephone you within 5 working days.
Do me a favour, it never happens!!!0 -
I never had one in the first place!Have you come to the end of your AIP?
The last letter I received from them was in July this year when they dropped the PC down by £1 because of an increase in one of my occupational pensions.
My partner has no income other than her lower care DLA.
If they have stopped it then it's going to be a pretty bleak Christmas!
I think it's pretty rude not to send a letter first.

This happened with one of my parents a few months back, they rang the pension service and it was sorted out pretty quickly and the missing payment was in the bank a few days later.0

Yes - I too can now breath a sigh of relief. I phoned the Pension Service's Cardiff office a few minutes ago (and to give the office their due, after the usual barrage of menus I was put thru to an operative within seconds) and found that the payment had been, apologetically, delayed and that it is due for payment tomorrow.
A night of fitful sleep _pale_ behind me now and we can look forward to Christmas again.
