From the home-phone-calls section (I can't add the link as a new user apparently):
'Pay £120 for its BT Line Rental Saver*, which includes free weekend calls, and over the year's contract it works out at £10/month - a saving of nearly £50 compared to BT's standard line rental charge of £13.90/month (£14.60 from 3 December 2011).'
But checking my latest bill I am being charged extra for the Unlimited Weekend Plan at £11.21/ qtr:

If I'm looking at your bill correctly I don't think you are being charged wrongly.
The reason there is a charge to pay on this quarterly bill is that the bill includes line rental to 1st Jan 2012, and you are coming to the end of your LRS and have only paid untill 7.12.11 (tomorrow).
So currently you have a charge for line rental from tomorrow to 1.1.12.
You can renew your LRS if you want to but I think the current bill will have to be paid and the credit will appear on your next bill.
They dont make it easy do they!0 -
Your bill looks to me like you paid £41.70 for 3 months line rental in advance for October 2011 to early Jan 2012, so by signing upto LRS you are due a refund but the credit seems large £30.49 did you sign up to LRS in late October ??..it does say credit though,
With LRS the £120 is paid as a one off so you shouldnt see a bill for line rental element until the 12 month aniversary of taking LRS, but you will still be billed for the call plan £0 if its the weekend call plan, plus any call charges etc.
The first bill after taking LRS is unclear due to being done mid billing period for your old ordinary line rental...you need to call BT who will explain, but it looks to me you have a credit on your bill of £30.49, a refund for the line rental you paid in advance, you would usually see a debit for £120 on the same bill though0 -
That makes sense, thanks. Guess I could check previous bills to go some way to confirming.0
