Tesco MC - justifying increased credit limit

Would be grateful to know if anyone has been successful in increasing their credit limit on a Tesco Clubcard Mastercard. My account offers 0% on purchases for 13 months so using for a slow stooze. The policy is not to allow an increase until the account has been open 12 months (another 6 months), but I'm invited to write in supplying recent bank statements and giving a reason why an increase is needed. An increase may then be considered.
Has anyone been successful via this route? How did you justify the need for an increased credit limit?
