Hi,
can anyone tell me if i have any rights regarding my sofa. I know that it's 18 months since i bought it but some of the edging on the cushions is starting to come away, one of the springs underneath the sofa has come out of place and pierced the fabric underneath and the matching swivel chair we bought also is now very very wobbly when it is sat in.
For a suite that cost a thousand quid altogether i think that it is unfit for purpose, and for that money it should last a hell of a lot longer.
So after reading all the forum posts regarding DFS i just wonder where i should start with them.
Cheers.

Well, the first thing you need to do is go back to the store you bought it from and see what they have to say...If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

As above, they will have it inspected and MAY offer a remedy.
Failing that, you'd need an independant report that shows the fault is inherent (ie not wear & tear or misuse).0 -
