Which small van to buy?

I have a 1.3 TD Vauxhall Combo for work purposes... Nice van, easy to drive, smooth ride and pretty nippy too (without the back loaded out with tools etc.), struggles a tiny bit if fully loaded.
They are also cheap, i picked mine up very cheap, but it was an ex royal mail van.
Just my 2p

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. Another vote for Combo, great little van.
Consider an LPG version if you drive a lot, the tank doesn't take up much room in the back of the van.0 -
Funny about the vote for the combo. It is the van of choice for my large company and every driver hates it without exception. It is so noisy inside the van that you can't hear the indictors, which has caused at least one crash when someone did not notice that he was still indicating and a car pulled out in front of him. If you do a lot of motorway driving you will end up deaf. The van that us engineers still love was the Ford Transit Connect, which is much smaller than the Transit but bigger than the Combo. Nice high driving position and a good load capacity in the back.0
