Acer built-in 5-in-1 card reader

I have an old Sony Ericsson K610i, which takes great photos. I had no problem uploading my photos to my previous laptops which ran XP and then Vista. Now, I have Windows 7 on an Acer Aspire 5741-A, and they won't transfer...like they use to do....via the USB cable. The Acer has a built-in 5-in-1 card reader, but I can't figure out how to use it as it's way to big for the micro SD card from my phone....and yes, I've Googled my problem but haven't found anything that helps.
Apart from using my friends card reader, which works fine,or buying one,( the one I've already bought seems to be just a fraction too small for my micro SD card) does anyone have any other suggestions, like how do/can I use the built-in card reader in my laptop? TIA

If the 5-in-1 reader can read SD cards then you need a micro SD to SD card adapter

Thanks for the response guys/gals!
BlueC,the price on that link was really good, but there were quite a few bad reviews!!
danthemoneysavingman, mine didn't....I still had the box it came in, in the back of a cupboard....and there was nothing else inside it. Reading through the instruction booklet again, it didn't even mention adding any extra memory in the form of a micro SD card, let alone a USB adapter for one!!!
AMAZING...my friend just popped in, and we talked about this, and she said her Sony software had been updated, and she had no problem uploading her photos, so....I connected my phone, via it's USB cable, and lo and behold, it installed all the drivers, and is now working!!!!

Glad you got it working. That was just an example link, there are loads of alternatives if you didn't fancy that one.
