My preference is A...cheaper to run (fuel wise but will use more DHW), better flow rate, superior aesthetics than an electric shower but also many reasons why not.;) More here.

P.S. Can run a shower off a bath shower mixer..saves on cost of separate bath taps.

Generally a combi gives a better shower, however the higher power elecrtic shower e.g. 10.5kW, are pretty good(may need uprated electrics)

Long pipe runs from Combi to shower can be wasteful. Also another hot tap turned on when combi shower is running can alter water temperature.

    Overall though - Combi wins!
