Well at the moment my other half is on Income support and just had his letter regarding transfer to ESA, my question is when the time comes and say he fails the medical, can I cancel the claim in his name and then me claim jobseekers for us both in my name?, as all this stress is literally driving him to suicide.
I am wanting to return to work so hence asking if I could be the claiment for Jobseekers?
At present I am his carer but dont recieve any benefits for this, but I would rather claim JSA if the worst came to the worst, any advice would be much appreciated
