Viners,Has anyone had problems contacting them

I bought a cheese board and it arrived damaged,now on their site it says you have to email them about damages and they will reply in 21 days,i couldn't believe it would take that long either,but seemingly it does.

I've emailed them twice in the past 35 days and had no response and their telephone number just rings out,nobody ever answers,i'm at a loss as what to do other than actually write to them.

Has anybody else ever had any problems,i know i certainly will never order from this company again :mad:

I'm afraid you're not likely to get any luck as they have gone into administration.

If you paid by Credit Card i'd recommend getting in touch with your bank to claim compnesation

You could try contacting Oneida - their parent company?

There's nothing on Viners' website to say they've gone into Administration - legal requirement to display that information, and no articles on internet.
Oneida is also still active on Companies House.

I am still getting emails as i used to buy from them,purchased a lovely canteen of cutlery,also other items,never encountered any problems.
Just looked online at Viners and i see nothing to say they are in administration? are you sure?

Bluebird, I think AndyBSG was trolling. I looked at Companies House and no mention of being in administration on there - or news items on internet.

I placed an order with Viners about 3 weeks ago...the money was taken from my account and the order has not been sent...I have tried emailing them as well as phoning but cannot get any reply....

beginning to get a little worried now!

Not sure if you can actually read this thread or not but it's a post in the Amazon Vine members forum(which is not related to Viners at all) from a member who had an open order with Oneida.

They managed to get in touch with someone eventually only to be told they had just laid off 70% of their staff and were running with the bare minimum to keep the business open while administration is being looked at.

You don't have to register the administrators at company house while you're going through the initial consultation until you actually formally go into administration

Thanks for the replies,i managed to contact them,i was ringing in the afternoons,never any answer,tried in the morning and got an answer,after reading the above i bet there isn't any staff to answer telephones in the afternoons or reply to emails at all.
