off to Milford on Sea near Lymington in february half term. we (2 adults and 2 kids aged 4 and 1) have been to the same place before and have already visited
Portsmouth historic dockyard
Highcliffe house
Beaulieu car museum and palace
we are definately going to Peppa Pig world but would like some ideas of other things to do. We do like castles/stately homes and not that keen on walking/hiking which would be what most people would do in the New Forest!!!! husband like cars and we both like historic stuff. ANy ideas?
Wondered about the Isle of Wight for the day but not sure how much it would cost for the 4 of us and the car to go on a day trip.

Yes, a day trip to the Isle of Wight is a good idea.
Have a look at Wightlink's website for ideas on both prices and things to do once there.
If you have Tesco Clubcard points they may help.0 -
We took a foot passenger day trip to the Isle of Wight and then used the coast hopper bus, both us and the kids had a fab time and it was cheaper than taking the car.Always on the hunt for a bargain0
