Mine do. Maybe it depends on the make of specs and possibly the windscreen.I read in another thread on here that Reactolite lenses don't work inside a car as the windscreen cuts out the wavelengths that make them react.
I do sometimes get the OP's problem but not bad enough to do anything other than look slightly away. If you already wear specs to drive then perhaps something like large skier's anti-glare ones over the top would be the answer. You might look a bit odd but better odd than blinded I suppose.I need to think of something new here...0 -
I read in another thread on here that Reactolite lenses don't work inside a car as the windscreen cuts out the wavelengths that make them react. To be honest I think it might be worth you seeing an optician to get your eyes checked first, just to make sure there's no underlying eye issue that is causing the problem. The optician may be able to advise on possible solutions too.
Being dazzled by oncoming traffic is a symptom of cataract.
Having mine operated on cured the dazzling.0 -
Hi
Ive got glasses and most of the time they are filthy but I still manage by cleaning windows in and out with newspaper and window cleaner/white vinegar. This usually gets them spotless.
I also focus on the cats eyes when possible so can see where going, then dont need to look at the lights.
Also, I tend to drive all the time with dipped headlights so avoiding having to keep re-adjusting my eyes.
Regards

Get your eyes tested again and tell your Optician your having problems driving at night it can be a sign of eye problem. I cant remember what off the top off my head.
Also I found anti glare coating make a huge difference.0
