I have an epson colour printer and have always bought compatible ink cartridges and although it states that using the compatibles cancels the warranty I have had the printer for about 5 years now. Its not wireless but my dd's printer is and I buy compatibles for that too. Only about £10 for 3 or 4 sets (can't remember exactly but very cheap from ebay).
When researching for dd's printer I found the epson compatibles very cheap.0
