Hi,
I have been offered a Mac hard disk to replace the failing one in my PC laptop. Once reformatted would it be compatible or are there connector issues? I'm guessing the latter but I'd like to be sure before I turn it down.

It is out of a Powerbook rather than a desktop type Mac, are they still likely to be different?0

Should be a standard 2.5" HD, probably with an EIDE connector.
Macs don't have different size HD's just because they don't run windows (well, unless you virtualise a windows environment using Parallels or Bootcamp on the new ones) you know! ;-)Wot, no sig?0
