Differences between dogs and !!!!!es

Ive had both A hermaphrodite many years ago.
Now that was strange0 -
on a purely superficial level, girls are better because you can give them proper tummy rubs!!!
Definitely true, my rott boy loves tummy rubs but with the size of it bits it is hard to do it without going near his boy bits. There is noooo way I am getting involved in any puppy loving
My !!!!! on the other hand is great and much easier to walk as there is no marking on everything and when she pees it is to empty her bladder rather than to leave a calling card on everything taller than a blade of grass. If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0 -
I find male dogs to be a bit more simple. !!!!!es can be lovely though. Good training can make amazing differences to a dog regardless of gender though.0

...Aint met my girlie then - she does the calling cards as bad as the boy!
The boy is so calm, laid back and placid (although so overenthusiastic in the leg lifting he's managed to topple over in the past, and managed to pull a muscle in his leg tryign to lift it too high as well!)... the girl - total bossy grouchpants who wants everything her own way, stubborn as a mule, willpower of steel - and has the poor lad totally under the thumb! People who work with greyhounds often say, although they're calm and laidback as a breed, the girlies are more trouble than the boys!
Love 'em both really though!Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0 -

I have always had Boxers both male and female and there is no difference in temperament or intelligence I hav an American Akita male 3yrs he is so thick its untrue he as been attacked with the same dog 20 times and wont do anything he wont get out of bed in the morning which is fine ...... I think it all depends on the dog ........... but you will fall in love with her the minute you see her Good luck xxx0

Actually that happens with b1tches, too - well obviously not what you described, but they can be just as bad about "washing" themselves. It's perfectly natural and all that, I just can't stand the noise:eek:murphydog999 wrote: »We've always had boy dogs for some reason, any that we have picked from a litter without even knowing, have been boys. What you don't get with a girl are particularly embarrassing boy dog moments - the ability to lick boy bits with no qualms about who your company is, for example!
I haven't noticed much of a difference, it does depend more on the temperament of the individual animals than it does on the gender. Female and male dogs can be just as smart and eager to please, or alternatively just as stubborn.
The only real difference comes if you don't get them neutered - once every six months, for two+ weeks, your lovely, well-behaved b1tch will turn into a pain-in-the-butt, incontinent, stroppy little sod who won't do anything she's told, barks ALL THE TIME and turns every male dog in sight into a raving sex-mad lunatic.
We're unable to get our b1tch neutered because of complications she's had with surgery in the past, but I would strongly recommend it. Even if you can keep her separate from all male dogs, the change in behaviour will drive you up the wall. Ours is a sweet little darling for 99% of the time, but you wouldn't think so if you met her when she's in season.:coffee:Coffee +3 Dexterity +3 Willpower -1 Ability to Sleep
Playing too many computer games may be bad for your attention span but it Critical Hit!0 -
Definately varies from dog to dog, regardless of gender. My current male GSD is very similar in personality to my last female GSD. My female Rottie x is very different to both of them - she is quite crafty but she is fantastically clever which makes her easier to train (once you know what to bribe her with!) as she picks up on things so quickly. Not as visibly affectionate as the last female GSD or the current male, but does love attention. Certainly easier to train than the male GSD, who is a little "dumb" (OK, he's not stupid, but he just learns in a whole different way to Kiki and it does take more work)0
