Primus and BT infinity?

Hi all,
I signed up via martins link to the £6.49 primus phone line deal ( dont ever make calls so seemed great ) and now im panicking that it will effect my BT infitinty broadband
Anyone know if it will?

Yes. You have to have BT line rental to have BT Infinity, so you'll have a whopping great bill coming for early termination fees.

That said, Infinity is BT's brand name for the product, available from a variety of suppliers, so you can still have the fibre service - just not from BT.0 -

Hi thanks for your reply, i just got off the phone to BT (UK call centre) and they assure me that changing my phone line to primus will have no effect on my BT infinity broadband and hav even sent me a email confirming it which i asked for in case there is a problem

If you're in a package deal for infinity, moving your line away will affect it. It will probably raise cancellation charges for the package.0
