    But stockpiling is an OS thing, surely? My question was about the stash, not where/how much you buy it :(
  • Mines in the house and i keep a small plastic cup in the sack for measuring.
    mines kept in cupboard and i just lift it out when i need some.

  • Ohhhh lots: (I've been quite bad for worrying about stockpiling recently - a sign OCD is taking over - honestly, I had a mini panic when I counted the loo rolls and I was down to 114:o)

    Loo rolls (now only 112):eek:

    12 washing up liquid
    4 Dettol spray
    2 Dettol floor cleaner
    4 fabric conditioners
    6 washing gel
    2 x 4 packs kitchen roll
    6 hand wash
    10 shampoo / conditioner
    6 deodorant
    8 shower gel
    4 bubble bath
    4 toothbrushes
    6 toothpaste
    30 tinned tomatoes
    12 baked beans
    8 kidney beans
    12 various other beans (haricot, butter etc)
    8 rice pudding
    6 custard
    10 jam
    2 golden syrup (large)
    3 maple syrup
    4 kg rice
    2 boxes Lasagne sheets
    8 kg pasta
    6 bolognaise sauce (add toms etc to make these go further)
    6 white sauce
    8 boxes porridge
    4 bags plain flour
    4 bags self raising flour
    stock cubes, cornflour etc
    240 teabags
    3 x 200g coffee
    3 x 2kg white sugar
    5 x 1kg brown sugar
    3 x caster sugar
    2 x hot chocolate
    40 sachet hot choc (have been on offer)

    1 freezer (full) = picked fruit & veg, raw meats (chicken, mince etc)

    Tinned cat food = 4 months
    Cat litter = 3 months
    Fish food

    Emergency winter stash - separate from the above & only for use if totally snowed in!
    4 - 6 weeks supply of all toiletries (42 loo rolls:))
    4 weeks meds
    1 month supply of food - on a worst case scenario of cooking on camping stove: tinned soup, baked beans, pasta & sauces, savoury rice, pasta n sauce, porridge, rice pudding, custard, dried veg, instant noodles, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, sugar, powdered/long life milk, biccies, chewing gum, chocs etc
    4 - 6 weeks supply of household cleaning & laundry products
    12 bottles sparkling water
    8 bottles still water (need more!!!!)
    8 x 1.5L cartons concentrated apple juice
    8 x 1.5L cartons concentrated (various) juice
    4 bottles blackcurrant hi-juice
    6 packs bread flour
    2 packs plain flour
    2 packs self raising flour
    Olive oil
    Batteries (lots!)

    I have to agree - stockpiling / buying in bulk when things are cheap / on offer saves money.

    Also, the stash isn't all about groceries .....

    OMG - I feel like a total amateur! Have you got room for a little'un and two kitties at yours? :D

    I think I am going to have a little section of the trolley for stash and spend xx amount on it each week.
