Its probably stating the obvious, but I think the majority of selling sites will charge some kind of fee, and its simply a case of factoring this into the asking price. We can't find you now
But they're gonna get the money back somehow
 And when you finally disappear
We'll just say that you were never here0

Gumtree, Adtrader or the like if you don't want to pay fees. The reason you pay fees on ebay is because they will put your bag in front of millions of customers.
I'd be careful if you do choose to sell on ebay as that sort of thing is a prime target for scammers.0

If you have the receipt, can't you return it? Or is it past season?
How much have you been asking for it?
Chances are if someone's buying a designer hand bag NOT for the original shop, they're going to want it for a reasonable amount less than the RRP, especially if it's past season.0

If its not sold your not getting enough potential buyers looking at it, Or its overpriced.
 Thats where ebay wins.
Many more buyers than most other sites and the buyers will tell you what its worth.
If the highest bid is £50 then thats its value to them. Doesnt matter if you think its worth £699Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0

other Jimmy choo bags sell for over £500 on ebay ive been asking for £400 dont have an ebay account as i dont have a bank account it wont let me sell some items.Yes i have the receipt but it was won in a competition so they would only pay it back to the card that bought it which would be no use to me.Ive tried local areas but dont think people have that sort of money around here.0

It doesn't sound like you will be selling it before Christmas then I'm afraid! eBay was always going to be the best bet but if you can't use it there are no real viable alternatives, particularly for a quick sale.monkeyfish9272 wrote: »other Jimmy choo bags sell for over £500 on ebay ive been asking for £400 dont have an ebay account as i dont have a bank account it wont let me sell some items.Yes i have the receipt but it was won in a competition so they would only pay it back to the card that bought it which would be no use to me.Ive tried local areas but dont think people have that sort of money around here.0

I really cant think of any selling venue that you haven't already either tried or ruled out.
All I can suggest is that you keep trying Gumtree until you get a bite- just be mindful of all the usual scams though.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. You could try one of the selling partners - they will take commission as well as you paying the selling fee, but it is an option if you have nowhere else to sell it.0
