Rich get richer, poor get poorer

And the UK has sen the fastest pace of growing inequality since the 1980's out of 22 countries.

So what can be done? Well apparently investing in "better quality jobs" will help. I assume they mean manufacturing etc.

Launching the report in Paris, OECD secretary-general Angel Gurria said: "This study dispels the assumptions that the benefits of economic growth will automatically trickle down to the disadvantaged and that great inequality fosters social mobility.

There should me a mega-rich TV channel on cable or sky. Only for those seriously minted.

Then we can load it with adverts, like the following

"Sponsor a teacher now. Just £800 a week will clothe and house a teacher, and guarantee them a better life. Please give"

How do you define rich and poor though? You could be earning £55k (so rich in some peoples eyes) but after tax you don't actually get that much and you might have to pay half your salary in rent and all the other bills. You can also be poor because you choose not to work. These things are not so simple as rich=bad, poor=good.

Just deport the top 10%, then we'd be more equal. Problem solved.

  • What can be done? A return to honest money for a start, with no anchor there is no limit to how much currency can be abused and wealth transfered to those with the power to create currency and give to those they choose.

It's jealousy in the main ..... those who haven't are envious of those who have, you can witness it here on these boards every day.

The BTL Landlords are lambasted by those without the ability (in mind or pocket) to do the same.

Some do and some talk about it.

If the poor can see how the rich get rich then they can do it themselves ..... the reality is, of course, that the poor don't want to get off their fat 4rses and improve things for themselves ..... no, much easier to sit and moan at the inequality of it all ....

I think we have all noticed your jealousy. Fortunately, unlike you, most people dont need to invent a high income etc to get by.

Its a shame your life has not worked out very well, but pretending to be rich wont make it so.

What time does the nice lady from meals on wheels come round, maybe she can listen to you for a while?

Come on now, think about it .... why would anyone be jealous of anyone with no property to call their own, a burger flippin job and sitting on here all hours? :rotfl:
