Good deal for LEXUS?
My lease has come to an end, after 3 years with Lombard. I payed £300 + VAT for the first 2 yrs, then £250+VAT for the last year. The mileage is 23,000, car is Lexus IS SE diesel 2008. They are offering to sell it to me for £10.7K. does this sound OK? The care has been looked after. The price for new lease contracts is so high.

How does the price compare to similar up for sale?
Although even if it is a bit more expensive you'll have the benefit of knowing its history compared to a replacement you could buy.0 -

The guy at Lombard said £10,700 was the "trade" price, sounds reasonable, as i think main dealers have petrol at £13~£14K at this mileage, but no diesel to compare to.Founder member MSE Jet Airways Mile High Club

Nice mileage, but yoiu can ge ones with 50k on for under 8000...
Plus the fact you have already paid £12240 for the car and noe having to pay a further£10700. eek.
I'd be tempted to ask which auction house it'll be going thru and buy iot from there at m uch less seeing as you know the car to be good.0 -
If you can find out where it'll be sent then that's exactly what I would do too, even with the auction house fees you'll still come away better off0

Check autotrader prices from £6575... 40,000 mile car £8190.
I think them getting £10+ is slim. Offer them £8kCensorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
