    Loan paid off in 2007.

I have had a current account with (Lloyds) TSB since 1981!

Offer letter 22nd Sept, when I phoned and spoke to someone at the call centre, they said I should receive payment direct into my account within the month.

Now 76 days later nothing. Have tried phoning but surprise, surprise it just rings and rings and rings...........

Has anyone managed to get through on the phone recently? If so, waht did they say?
  • They dont give any information even if u do get threw x they just say we cant give a date they cant put u threw to anyone who can give any information they are extreamly bad mannered n snotty what exellent customer service x i got my upheld letter sept n then calculation letter in oct with interest calculated till nov23 i have phoned several times n got no were this is very unfair n disorganised for a big company its a joke has anypne atually been payed????
  • Offer letter 16 September 2011, interest calculated to 5 Oct. 2011 - this is a paid up loan

Well, I think the results speak for themselves.
  • nope. all loans finished years ago - 9 claims which lloyds accepted and made an offer on aug 30th - still no payment on all and awaiting calcs on 4 still.
  • waiting since september and guess what no open loan.

the open loan i did have was sorted within a matter of weeks.
  • I paid off my loans in 2004, complained in 2001 and 2003 about being forced to have PPI but no-one at Lloyds would listen, complained again in August 2011 and got my letter in November, still waiting and judging by the comments on here I am unlikely to see any of my money for a considerable time...this in spite of the fact that they have had my money for 14 years+

Extremely disappointed with the process and the lack of communication, they are clearly under-resourced and seem to have no intention of settling claims within the time-scales identified in their own policy statements.
