Buying on Ebay

Morning All,
Not too sure what to do, i have purchased a top and a dress on ebay, the top has arrived and looks totally different from the pic. In the pic it looks pinks and lilac and purples and it has arrived and it is is sage green and pale green - not a colour i would ever buy.
the dress has arrived and is a lovely dress bit has two pulls in the material - not mentioned in the advert.
Should i mention to the sellers?

If they're business sellers then you can send back for a refund for any reason, if it's a private seller then it would need to be for a reason, unless they say that they'll refund.
What colour was the top described as in the listing? If it was listed as lilacs, then contact them & say that you've received a green one & would like to return for a refund.
The dress you should contact the seller & say that you're not happy with the pulls in the fabric & would like to return it.
You'll need to pay the return p&p but you will get back the original payment including the p&p.
If they refuse then you can open SNAD in Paypal, that should be your last resort though.0 -
Neither are business sellers. The top didn't have any description of colour, just said it was new from a smoke free home.0

The difference in colour could be due to different pc monitors, colours can show totally different (e.g. I had green on mine, blue on a friend's laptop)
The buyer was unwise not to add colour to the description.0 -
You may well be right it could be due to different pc's, so is that my fault for not checking or the sellers for not describing what colour it was?0

Both.
The seller is foolish not to have mentioned what colour the top is, but you should never buy anything based on the picture alone.
Other than the item description there is also a section called item specifics, which is above the description and contains whatever details the seller has added, such as size, style colour etc. Have you checked there? It may sometimes seem like I can't spell, I can, I just can't type0 -
Yes there was nothing, i have emailed and they have said i can send it back0

I have returned the top - got proof of postage but the seller is saying she hasn't received it and that i need to wait for 15 days for RM, is this correct?0

When did you send it? What service did you use?0

Tuesday morning. 1st class, woman in PO said all i needed was a proof of postage which i got.0

There's still time for it to arrive, RM is no doubt getting busy now with Xmas. If the seller doesn't receive it then with your COP you can claim for the loss from RM, 15 working days after you posted.0
