Bt to Sky

Hi,
I have just been talking to sky about hd tv and during the conversation the agent said that if i took my line rental and phone calls over to sky as i already have broadband with them i could have line rental and broadband free for 9 months.
The only problem is that last february i entered a 12 month contract with bt for the anytime calls and received a monthly discount of £2.00 a month for the package.
Does anyone know what the cancellation charge bt would inforce for me to leave and take up the sky offer.
Thanks

The cancellation charge for the Anytime plan is approx £5 per month left on the contract. So if it is just a line you are looking at £10, but do include a 30 day notice period on top of that. Sky would take 14 days to take your line rental over, but you would still be billed a further 16 on top of that at your standard monthly cost.0
