Has anyone got any of these new clothing vouchers spare? The clothing ones never come at my local!

Karen23, I don't understand how people seem to get so much off! Did you have a full set of blue vouchers? Even so, I still can't get it!

    Purchased:
A Total: £62.50 worth of womens and childrens bits and bobs.

    Used:

    £10 spring time
    £7 spring time
    £4 blue voucher
    £10 blue voucher
    2 x £6 QK clothing vouchers, so paid: £19

Fantasic!! Also used till spits 500 for womens clothes and 300 for footwear, which also didn't scan, although I purchased £18 shoes and the till spit only said £10!!

I asked SA first, and then Supervisor came over who was fine to use the vouchers as well.

    Hi Charlene,

I spent £35 womens and £25.50 childrens and I used

    £10 spring
    £10 blue
    £7 spring
    2 x £6 spring
    2 x £6 quit
    £6 blue
    £5 spring

so I actually got £1.50 off my other shopping, not £3.50 as I previously stated :o

The cashier said she was 'astonished' that the till took so many clothing vouchers :money:

Oooh you managed to use 2 £6 spring!! I haven't seen these one's! You know, i'm so annoyed, I found a blue £6 womans one yesterday when I got home! Urgh!!

Tempted to shop again for £35 of womens clothes using QK, Spring and Blue, and getting £35 for £16! Shame the spring are finishing tomorrow.

    Thanks for the reply.

The most i have used is 2 voucherstogether as didn't dare risk anymore, how do you guys get away with using so many and are they used at manned tills ?

I bought quite afew items but am nervous to take the ones that are no good back incase they notice i had used a £10 and a £6 coupon, as someone else asked do the Tesco Clubcard vouchers definately show just as coupon then i can say that , but i don't think they do £10 clubcard coupons ??

I try them all the time. depends on CA what will happen.some you win some you loose. Also depends on their attitude-if they are polite in refusing loads of vouchers i pay then return items and have never had cs question vouchers.however if they are rude in anyway i leave all shopping at the till take my vouchers and tell them to put everything back on the shelves.

I have always combined mine. Just play dumb and if they say anything say 'I'm not sure which ones will work, please try'. I did stand my ground yesterday when none would scan - op was definitely pushing the wrong buttons. Supervisor came over and took the whole lot and just over scanned them. I was a bit red but knew I was at least partially in the right. Hope that helps Dusty. Tip I find they work best if mixed up, interspace with toiletry ones etc. Just in terms of not being too obvious!

  • It really depends on the cashier if you get lucky or not. Just ask them to 'see if they can try which ones will scan'. You've got nothing to lose, have you ;) ? If they are happy to try them all, you'll end up with some bargains. If they refuse to accept them all and only scan one or two, smile and save the others for another day. Then return any unwanted items.

I picked up one of those Store Locator booklets a few months back, to get a better idea of how many Tesco's there were within half an hours drive from me. I now know which stores have Pharmacy counters, and which sell clothes etc, and can plan my Tesco outings better. HTH.

And ofcourse yesterday, the day they ran out  , I found a small pile of the £10-7-5 Spring vouchers in an Extra store, not in a prominent location or anything, they were on a miniscule ledge inside a pillar! No point taking them but wished I had found them a week earlier ;) .

I had a £10 or was it £10.50 club card deal voucher sent to me last time. Have also had £5.50 and a £5 and £2.50. Don't think I have seen a £6 one though.(not to say they def. do not have them just These are the only ones I can remember)

Anyone had other ones?? This would be useful to know.
