My advice would be to get a letter off your Dr or Consultant supporting the number of seizures you have, because from what you have said it does sound like you would meet the descriptor to qualify for ESA.

Send these in ASAP with a GL24 appeal form (you can fill these on online).

You will also need to send in med certs (fit notes) from your Dr to be paid under appeal.

I would also advise you to send your appeal by recoreded delivery.

If you can do all this by the end of the week you should start to get payments under appeal before christmas.

one of the problems i see is that a gp or consultant can only go off the patient regarding how many seizures they have,so the dwp might as well just go off what the claimant is telling them as well,i`m sure that in the OPs case its the fact that he states having 5 seizures per month that has caused the problems,as i said in an earlier thread that COULD be 5 all in one week and not one or more per week, which scores 15 points

True, however when a Decision Maker has an appeal in front of them, when they are doing a reconsideration of the original decision, a letter from a Dr or Consultant holds more weight. Presumably because a Dr or Consultant would be able to corroborate whether the claims being made are consistent with the patients medical history, which a DM doesnt know.
