Pop music CD suitable for an 8 year old?

My nieces parents have suggested I could get her a CD of pop music.
I know there are a few options but music's getting a bit "suggestive" nowadays (and she's quite naive lol) so I'd like it to be modern pop but as clean as possible!
Any suggestions?

I know my 8 year old has mentioned the pop party cd's on his christmas list and they seem like good value for money

Oh and they are aimed at children x0 -
As a kid I had a few "Now" albums which always had a good variety of modern pop on them. They contain the radio edits of any songs when necessary so they are suitable for kids. The latest one is "Now 80" (argh - makes me feel old!). Unfortunately I am too new to post links but if you go to Amazon.co.uk and search for Now 80 you'll find it.0

Or if you're looking to by an album by one artist - JLS, One Direction and Olly Murs are all very child-friendly and have new stuff out.0

As already recommended - http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=pop+party&x=0&y=0Princess Sparklepants0

As a parent you surely must know what's acceptable listening for an 8 year old child. ....I was going to say more....do I really need to??Yes, I usually tell it as I see it and respond where I see the need, but never are my comments ment to be taken personally.0

I had to post to say that I find your comment rude and unhelpful. If you had bothered to read the whole thread, the OP had stated they were asked to buy a CD by their nieces parents. How would this make them a parent themselves??? It is replies like this that cause people to not bother asking questions on forums like this :mad:0 -
I'd opt for the latest Now album. Mine also had Pop Junior when a little younger (6).0

My daughter is 8, and I've bought her the pop party CD and the Now 80 cd, I've listened through and they're both fine, and the sorts of songs they would hear on the radio and dance along to.0

If your reply cannot be nice, has an underlying issue, or you believe that you are God, please post in another forum. Thank you0

As Sadie204 helpfully pointed out, I am buying a CD for my niece, and she correctly guessed I have no children.
The reason why it's a difficult purchase, as I'm sure you'll know is that what passes for "pop" these days can be inappropriate. I don't have the music knowledge to know if all 40 songs on a compilation album are clean, and nor do I have the time to check and guess along the way that it is innocent enough for my niece.
Rhianna's song called S&M is a "pop" song, I hear it on the radio and although it is marginally censored, but I know my niece's Dad wouldn't appreciate me getting her a CD with that particular song on it so that his precious daughter will dance around and sing the words!!
Thanks for the recommendations - Pop Party and Now 80 both sound good. I'm also quite tempted by Ultimate Pop Princess toohttp://www.amazon.co.uk/Ultimate-Pop-Princesses-Various-Artists/dp/B005C8VQUI/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1323036183&sr=8-2
The Barbie one looks good too, http://www.amazon.co.uk/Barbie-Lets-Dance-Various-Artists/dp/B00485Z3VO/ref=sr_1_1?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1323036270&sr=1-1 Although I don't think she's into Barbies so I might miss it.0
