Hi

Does anyone know why edf have no online tariffs anymore? As far as I can see the have two fixes and that's it?

Thanks for the link. They seem to only have standard and green. Nothing like the v7 or anything like that. It's either a fix or standard. Not much choice.

There are 3 fixes: 2012, 2013, 2014. And two variables.
Seems to cover most of the angles to me.

Very simple indeed. Hardly any choice!

According to whoever it was, that is what the consumer wants.

    Simple tariffs

BG have the same lack of choice as well.

  • The switching sites are going to be a right old mess until all the Big 6 simplify their tariffs, lol.

Looks like their 2012 Fix has now gone to meet its maker, leaving just 2 fixes left. So just the 2 fixed, the standard and the green now. Blimey. It's weird seeing EDF so far down the switching sites now. I think us online savvies need to prepare to pay more for our energy next year.

  • There was a warning they might pull the Fix for 2012 tariff which is why I switched to it last week.
