A morsel of news :think::think::think:
Well.....let's see......
DD is very settled in her job. Training to be a dental nurse and buzzing around in her little car. DS has started college to do catering, which is what he has always wanted, so all good there too.
We had a summer of events - lots of gigs, Reading festival, the Olympics, the wedding of one of my best friends and the funeral of another of my best friends.
Work is busy, I am skint as always but then again, who isn't?
And I am loved up and happy. OH moved in earlier in the year and I cannot even begin to explain how good life is. :smileyhea
Obviously, I don't post much any more on here - cyberspace is much smaller than we think sometimes, and I have a need to be careful over what gets "out there", if that makes sense.
Anyway, basically.....life is good. I have an amazing man. I have lovely shoes. I have handbags to match. I have holidays booked. I have happy teenagers. What more, really, and realistically, could I want.
xxx
Hey there stranger... remember me?! Been a VERY long time since I've been on here, won't bore you with the reasons. But have thought often about you and some of the other guys that kept me going through some very dark times a few years ago.
Not read everything except the first post on this diary and the last couple of pages... BUT GOOD FOR YOU! Sounds like you've got your stuff sorted. Did you ever get that skip in the driveway?! I still need one. And a kick up the a**e.. but that's another story
All the best to you Hypno xx
P.S. New man? Ooh!!!0 -

Pandapaws your ears must have been burning because about an hour before your post is timed, DD and I were telling OH about some of the stuff you and I were involved in waaaay back when!!! how bizarre is that?!?!?!
Yes, the skip was ordered - several of them in fact, as I moved house a couple of years ago during the divorce process. Same village, but a fresh start.
Mind you, I was prompted by OH to do some more unpacking of boxes last night, and think that perhaps another skip may be in order as I didn't realise just how much tut I had brought with me unnecessarily!!! Ah well, baby steps!!
Send me a pm, or add me on fb and we can catch up properly - hope you and the kids are well. It was lovely to hear from you! xxSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. So......6 years today since I joined MSE. And what a six years it has been. From literally not knowing how we were going to get through the week, to looking forward to a year ahead full of holidays, days out, and joining the Mortgage free in 3 challenge again (don't worry, I won't be clearing my mortgage in 3 years.....not without the help of a lottery win!).
Life is rosy. I'm still skint.....but it is a different sort of skint. One I can certainly handle.
Here's to the next 12 months and thank you all again for sticking with me, even though I don't post on here so much.

Glad life is so good for you :T.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

And what a journey it has been for you H ! Loved your "can do" attitude, your baby step projects and your honesty. Tins of sprouts and jaffa cakes along the way lol. Weight loss, new love etc etc etc etc A true inspiration.
And now .... happy times at last for you. You go girl !!!
