Just caught up with your news and all I can say is: BLIMEY!
and HOORAY!
and CONGRATULATIONS!
I'm so glad to hear how things have worked out for you. I'm slightly jealous too - but you have shown what kind of transformations are possible if you want them enough. You are an inspiration and not only financially!Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -
Thanks Seaxwyn
Life is good.....a couple of external curve balls thrown in along the way of course, but one needs those to keep one on one's toes I guess :rotfl:
Apart from that, you won't hear me complaining, that is for certain!
For once :rotfl:

Hypno, I'm so very delighted for you and Mr Coffee :T
We've shared a similar journey. From the start, your diary's kept me sane as you shared the good and the challenging bits of being in debt and working to be debt-free. I couldn't find the words to express myself here, but you were able to put it all down - for me to know that I wasn't on my own. Priceless. I'll always be grateful to you for that.
And for those who wonder of their own future relationship - I too have met a wonderful golden-hearted man. We're shortly moving in together. I've been single for some while, so it's been a lovely surprise
Many thanks and blessings to you for the days ahead.0 -

It's a bit much to be referring to him as Hypno's 'new man pet', Lucielle! :rotfl:
I hope all is very well with you both, Hypno, but I have a question to ask, please: someone I know needs to find a welcome family for a 20 year old foreign student in Andover for 3 weeks over the summer. Do you have any ideas who they should ask? I remember you used to have students stay over, and they must have come from somewhere.xxx

I was only joking, Lucielle! You've caused no offence at all (at least, I don't think you have - Hypno's got a great sense of humour). I imagined that you meant it Geordie-style 'How's it going with your new man, pet?' but that you had forgotten the comma and it gave me a funny image, which is why I was laughing.
*Hands over exotic-looking cocktail* Let's not fall out over a comma. Or not, as the case may be!Please call me 'Pickle'
