Well, what a 24 hours! Had a lovely evening yesterday - the office party was very good, and I was more than happy with the way I looked:D Sadly, however, I did make rather too much of the free bar.....and cannot remember much of the last hour or so :o Ah well, I don't make an idiot of myself too often, so I will allow myself this one, but it really didn't end up prettily :o:o:rotfl:

Today, of course, I had a well deserved hangover. And have curtailed the post football drinking.....I just didn't want to do it, so had a quick diet coke and came home. However, the match itself was fabby dabby - Norwich beat Newcastle 4-2 in a match that was full of excitement. A really good way to blow the cobwebs away with some very special people....just what was needed.

Tonight is television and an early night. That will do me just nicely I think!

Hope you are all having a good weekend x

Glad you had a nice quiet eveing, I spent part of it trying to explain to friends who have no idea what MSE is why I was happy that Norwich won as that would really top Hyno's weekend off :o:D. Mr GG guessed what I was on about & found it very amusing :)

Thanks GG - I am rather bruised this morning....yesterday's goal celebrations were just a tad energetic. I do love matchdays, and when the result is like that, it makes it extra special!

Today will be another quiet one.....am currently watching SATC on DVD. The Christmas tree will go up later today, and a bit of pottering will get done, and then I am heading to a girlfriends for dinner and a gossipy evening.

Next week starts getting busy ahead of Christmas, so I need to be able to hit the ground running :D

Yes, it was looking to be a bit of a non event for me this year, so this has really made it for me!!

Now I need to think about getting more food in - I had worked on the basis there was just me for most of it, with the Children for part of it, so didn't go OTT with food shopping. That will obviously change now....will make a shopping list this afternoon and start to get festive :)
