Bulbs out already

Can't see another thread so apologies if this has already been asked but I planted my spring bulbs at the end of oct and unfortunately they are already coming out! Oh my word, what can I do? Is it just a case of tough luck and no lovely spring show or is there something I can do??

Do you mean they are coming into flower or just shooting? If they are shooting then a cold snap may well bring them to a temporary halt, but if they are already flowering I don't see there is much you can do to be honest.. just enjoy them now..

I think the OP means they are shooting. Don't worry, they will hold off, and you'll get your flowers. Bulbs are coming up all over the place just now as it's been too warm.

Found a grape hyacinth (Muscari) in full bloom today, not usually expected until end feb/march. Primroses have been flowering on and off throughout the year.

    It's all gone mad!
  • My primroses are looking lovely in the winter sun today, as are my tete a tete daffs from last year!
