HMV voucher not honered

I bought a card from a HMV store and collected point. I was then told that I had to use my points otherwise they would be lost, so I exchanged them for vouchers. Only to find that you don't actually get a voucher. The amount is added to your card. I used one of my vouchers value of £2 leaving me £5 to spend. I knew that my 6 months were coming to an end and so went into a shop last week to find out when the voucher ran out. Only to be told that they couldn't tell me. I checked that the voucher was still active by starting a transaction and then the assistant voiding it before I paid. Today I went to use my voucher only to be told that it had expired today by the customer support help line and there was nothing that they would do about it. I did forget to mention that on Saturday my mum tried to spend the voucher but she told the assistant that she wanted to spend my points rather than voucher and he would not even take the card off her. He sent her away telling her she had to sort it on-line. At this point my voucher had not even expired.
I sent them an email explaining the situation and they basically said 'tuff'.
If anyone reading this uses a HMV points card please beware. There doesnt seem to be anything I can do to get my money back.
