Just wondering...
and are they any good?
never bought one before but thinking of getting one for this christmas.
Only having 2 adults and 2 kids at home this year.. they all seem about 1.5kg but how much of it is usually stuffing?
Seem ok for £10 ish but just wanna know if they're any good..

really rate the Aldi 3 bird roast for £7 i think it was. Very meaty. chicken, turkey and duck. We used up half for a sunday lunch (2 adults , 2 young kids ) and then had the other half in sandwiches and as cold cuts with pickles. perfect if you dont want loads of leftovers0

I would second the vote for the Aldi 3 bird roast - really delicious & an even better bargain this year than last - I think was £9.99, now £7/£7.49ish? Although I can't see it on their Christmas newsletter so may just have been selling off old stock??... I'll bet that their 4 bird roast (£9.99) this year is just as good!!!0

In one of the newspaper magazines yesterday, Anthony Worrell Thompson had done a taste test on these.
The Asda chosen by you three bird roast came out best at £20, tasting almost exactly the same as the M&S one for £40.
I suspect they are the same product.0 -
Have to say we bought one these (From M&S) a few years ago, and while it was nice, by the time our guests had loaded their plates with gravy, veg and all the trimmings, it could have been any meat on their plate, and the flavours were lost. We have been back to Turkey ever since.0

Can't believe you can buy 4 'birds' for £7, makes me wonder what their life was like.... Just saying!Professional Photographer with a love of bargain hunting.. Been a moneysavingexpert since 2006 :-D

Definately Aldi for us, we bought one a week or so ago and ate it yesterday (wanted to try it before Christmas) and have to say it was absolutely gorgeous.
We have 2 adults and 2 children and like another MSE'r said it did us two meals, half yesterday and half cold with jacket potato this evening - just as tasty cold as it was hot. Cost was £6.990 -
The Aldi 3 bird weighs more and costs less £4.66 per KG for the 3 bird roast and £6.75 per KG for the 4 bird roast

hi,
I cant seem to find a three bird roast in Asda. Was it Tesco, by any chance? Cant find the article you mentioned online to check - Do you mind looking it up? Trying to decide if we want one and if we should get it from a supermarket or butcher...
Thanks!0 -
No 3 birds in local Aldi for about a month now, told it`s been replaced by the 4 bird.0
