Sainsbury`s dishwasher offer

Please bere with me on this. Earlier today i went onto the Sainsbury`s site amongst others looking to purchase a dishwasher. I found a fantastic deal where a Bosch slimline dishwasher was on sale with a price of £29.99. Yes, i thought to good to be true also! I phoned my mother in law who doesn`t own a washer and asked, if i could get one at that price should i get her the item also, yes was the answer. Now my sister`s daughter recently moved into a new home looking after her disabled little girl, get her one i thought also! In the end i ordered 4 as at that price my other sisters and brother wouldn`t let the opportunity pass by. Now the payment of £119.96 was taken at 12.35pm today (Saturday 3/12/11), with the order confirmation and delivery details attached. I`ve just gone onto my e-mails and find that Sainsburys have cancelled my order at (4.04pm) saying they are now out of stock, when it must have been in stock for the order to be taken and confirmed. I smell a rat, i want the items that i ordered and had confirmed by Sainsburys. Is there anyone out there from Sainsburys who can help, or anyone can advise me on my consumer rights on this issue, many thanks JL

Sainsburys Terms:6. Placing an order and order acceptance
6.1 The Order Acknowledgement email and order number are not an order confirmation or order acceptance from us. Acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on despatch to you of the products ordered unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it. Where items are despatched separately, our acceptance of the order in respect of each item takes place when that item is dispatched. Our carrier will make every reasonable effort to contact you to make delivery, but if they are unable to do so then your order will be cancelled and payment refunded to your card. Where you use our Click & Collect service, acceptance of your order will take place when the goods are available for collection by you at your nominated collection store.
6.2 We are not permitted to sell a knife or blade, alcohol or age restricted products to any person under the age of 18.
6.3 We will inform the TV Licensing Authority of your name, address and order details if you place an order for a television or television receiving equipment.
You tried, fair enough. Time to move on

It wasn't an offer, it was a mistake, as you well know.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
(Peachyprice) Just for the record, it was listed under "great offers" on Sainsburys site, so decided to take a punt on a possible great deal. Sure i thought it was a mistake, but would you not kick yourself if it had turned out to be a fantastic deal. Oh no you still wouldn`t have would you just like zZorber who still KNEW it was a mistake yet just had to try to buy one just in case!!!. Thanks to the really helpful people on forums like this and not to certain people who just trawl the sites looking to belittle, didn`t work.Take a step back and try a bit of humour.0

ofcourse everybodyy would chance it! But they would also accept it was a mistake and they missed out rather than hoping and trying to find out if their are loopholes in consumer law that mean they have to fall victim further to their own error0 -
I work for JS so does that mean i can reply to the thread, well ill reply anyway, you wont get said items as it seems it was an error, maybe the original price was meant to be £299.99.
Ive ordered(gave it a try) items that have been posted on hukd as a deal and i get an email saying "sorry we weren't able to fulfill your order" and i move on.0
