Payment Protection Reversal??

Options
Hi,
Before I get a grumbling refusal on the phone, by some disembodied call centre bunny, I thought I'd ask here first:
Is it ever possible to reverse a Payment Protection Plan from a Credit Card Company?
I am currently coughing up £22 a month in payment protection fees to Barclaycard (dontcha just love 'em?) and would prefer if this could be stopped.

Just call up an cancel your policy.

You have two products - a credit card and an insurance policy. You can keep the card and lose the protection policy.

    R.
Smile :), it makes people wonder what you have been up to.
  • Thank you.

Yep - payment protection on credit cards and overdrafts is a monthly renewable contract which you can cancel when you like, unlike payment protection on personal loans which is normally a one-off premium covering the initially agreed term and which is hence far harder to cancel.
