Nationwide Champions Saver

Hi,

I have a nationwide champion saver opened about eight months ago.
The rate is not as attractive as it was then.

Can anyone tell me if this type of account can be closed without losing the interest I would have gained had it been opened for 12 months?

Regards

Interest is calculated daily, so you'll only lose interest (at the current rate) for the duration remaining if you close it early.

Be sure to give 60 days notice however, or you will lose further interest.

Best way might be to transfer the balance to another account (giving 60 days notice) and close the account at the end of the term.

Since you only had it open 8 months, you will of course lose interest compared to what you would have gained had it been opened for 12 months.
