My partner has Bipolar and was getting DLA until Jan 2011 when it was stopped My partner started work and was told he would have to reclaim he filled out the form alone and i didn't realize he had filled it out as to how he was feeling at that moment.. The letter came back saying all he needed was reassurance and that he was no harm to himself or others. (what a laugh they dont have to live with it)
We went to CAB and they told us to take it to tribunal so that is what we are doing over last month my partner has finally been given a CPN/Social worker .When we told him about this tribunal he got in touch with CAB and said he would provide medical evidence Now we have had a letter to say tribunal is jan 4th 2012 His CPN has told him he is not to attend because of his state of mind and he will attend on his behalf.. Has anbody had someone attend on behalf of them .. My partner is now worried because he does not know if to attend or not
