You need to make yourself go to CAB tomorrow.
I think there is something they can do re bank as bank should not take your benefit money as it is for you to live on.
I think it is a notice of appropriation or something like that.
The other thing you really need to do is open a new basic bank account ASAP.ie tomorrow.
Get your benefit money paid in there & the bank you owe money to cannot get at it IYSWIM?
It must be a bank you dont owe money to.

It is a new basic bank it was my fault Im with Co-op and it doesnt take what you spend of your available balance when you pay with card iykwim? and I didnt realise there was actually that amount in when my rent DD came out last month. So I rang when I recieved the letter saying I was being charged to ask if they could take it out a different date when I should have had money going in. So they changed it then my money didnt go in :mad::mad: BUT Ive been on to the bank and they said when the letter comes with this months charges if I call explain to them what happened and they can see the money was late (becuase its been paid in every 28 days for the last 7/8 months never been late they might cancel them) Lets hope and pray they do or Ill be in the same mess next month :o

Hopefully you get something sorted soon hon x I know £22 is a lot to you but its not completely impossible to find with a bit of luck. Can you reclaim the bank charges? I think if they cause you hardship the banks arent allowed to put off the claims. It wouldnt happen overnight but could help further down the line.

Maybe we need to dust off the ironing ice cream van and hit the road

I have exhausted all options even down the dodgy loan route I am definatly looking at claiming bank charges back (mainly from Llyods who I banked with before and paid ALOT in charges from them x Thank you

the first time, 15 working days, after that, you find it is much quicker! usually within days. I think the first time they are just verifying your account.

it is this BUT a bank probably has a right to refuse to not charge if someone is taking the pee, but we know HI isn't! worth a go HI
