  • Thank you Beanie :D

Ok so I phoned Tax Credits yesterday and tbh I dont think they even know why its not on from April lol
So he said it will probably stop from April the 5th until they recieve my renewal form back with proof of what my earnings are or something. I phoned again and she said it wouldnt but if when I renewed I wasnt entilited I'd owe it back. So anyway because there not even sure Im gonna work on it stopping April then starting again after the renewal (knowing my luck thats what will happen lol!), but right now Im using the tax credits to pay the PayDay Loan at £73 a week until the 16th March so I wont really "miss" that money only for paying my debt. I think if I have worked it out right :rotfl: It was late when I got in and tried to work it out lol

Tax credits are a nightmare, and I was reading some info yesterday about how if you have changes after 2012 April and you inform them, if it is above a certain amount, you won't get the changes reflected in your tax credits until next April and if it is below they will do it.

    Complicated! made my head hurt!

Did you have a good evening?
  • Yes it was lovely :) It cost him £20 each way in a taxi though  I was like we could have fed us for a month for what he spent in one night  But other than me keep going on how much it cost It was lovely :D

Tax credits are so confusing lol Im just not going to rely on them thats the easiest way :rotfl:

Oh, that is bad, sorry to hear they've done that :(

Would working just odd days mess up your tax credits too much?
Not sure but maybe someone else on here will know.

Yes unfortunately it will. You have to be working 16.hrs each week.

The only thing I can think of is to go back onto IS, and you are allowed to work so many hours, they deduct anything over £20 earnt weekly, if that's any help?

  • Im hoping to pick something up, but in the meantime Ive no idea seeing as she gave me no notice. I dont even know what to say to Tax credits? Because she cant even give me an idea if it will be every week or once a month, once every 2 months etc. Im so upset shes done this when she knew Id have to stop everything and its not even been 4 weeks! I feel like she used me why she was away for 2 weeks and her other person on maternity leave and now their both back they dont need me. It wouldnt even be worth staying on with her the odd hours becuase it would cost more in actually getting there and back etc than Id even get in wages! Im so confused.

I just feel like giving up tbh. No matter how I try to better things something goes wrong. It all just feels pointless ..
