Meteor / Roxburgh

Hello There,

I got a ticket for parking in a disabled bay without any badges at a hospital (i work there as an IT engineer) which was outside some offices we have on site (not a patient car park), i was unloading 2 heavy printers and other items and this was the closest to the doors up some steps, I was a 5 minutes and came back out to the PCN on my car, I didnt even pay to get into the car park as pressed the buzzer and some on on the other end let me in.

I have received a letter which i responded to to tell them i wasnt paying, i havent heard anythign for a while and got another letter through, this one is different to the letters stored on this site, and it mentions that they are aware of this site and advice being given and we shouldnt follow it. (letter below).

I wont be paying this as this is something we cannot avoid at times as some printers weigh 40 kilos.

Thanks

Send the link to Crabman, he's the thread starter on the top sticky that you have compared the letter to. If you don't mind him adding it to the info pics on that thread please tell him as it helps others to see 'their' letter.

Apart from that just keep ignoring them. So what if they know about forums where we rightly point out theses fake PCNs are a scam?

You will get the Graham White (aka Roxburghe again) letters next.

Nothing happens, it's a mail scam.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Ignore, stay Ignoring and all the letters are as fake as the ticket they gave you...
The whole show start to finish is a impersonation of real authority.
Whilst ever your money is in your pocket you win.
All they can do is up the show, the smoke the mirrors, the threats and hope you crumble.

I can inform you of the civil procedures they refer to.
They dont apply to small claims track, which is what they would have to use to pursue legal action.
So the letters are complete hogwash I'm afraid.

I have just noticed they are now using the barcode franking system.
Find the envelope and check they have not put a stamp on to cancel it out.
    If its barcode franked.
    TIME FOR SOME FUN !!!!
Save the letters, put them all back in the post box, they keep coming back, bob them back in everytime you pass the postbox...
They get charged every time the barcode gets scanned at the sorting office.
When they get the postage bill:eek:

They have to pay for an intercept to get them removed.
I guarantee you, they never send any more ££££££££££££££££££:rotfl:

    well spotted.

I got a meteor 'ticket' last tues; the 3rd in less than 2yrs. I could easily inform them that I'm entitled to park as an employee and that we have ongoing issues with HR, who fail to send permits out in 80% of cases.

but why bother? far better to keep re-sending the bar-coded threats - which is what I'll be doing.

OMG - that's almost worth getting a "ticket" from Meteor just to do that ! In fact they run the parking at Brighton Station ..... hmmmm VERY tempting :rotfl:
All aboard the Gus Bus !
