Hi!
Last week I was made redundant due to the company I work for going into administration. Last June I booked a flights through Easyjet, which I have just cancelled, (I paid for this on my cc) and have just had a refund for the tax which is good. I also booked a private villa and paid for this via a bank transfer. What I am trying to find out, is there any way of reclaiming through the bank (under any insurance they) or can I make a claim through the liquidators. We had not sorted travel insurance out but I dont think we could have claimed on it.
Thanks in advance.

If these travel expenses you booked are for travel in connection with work then you may have a claim to be reimbursed , but you will be in line with other creditors.
If it is for your own holiday, then the company has no reponsibility, why should they ?
- you MAY have been able to claim on your travel insurance (if you had any), depending on the cover you had paid for. A good reason why you should take out insurance as soon as the booking is made, not just before you are going to travel.0
