The bonus is actually payable for eighteen months, not twelve.

It is worthy if you have huge amount of money to be saved. Say over £10,000. Otherwise Santander might offer a better alternative of 3.1% unlimited and instant withdrawal.

And what is the max. that can be withdrawn by faster payments? is it £250? and the rest by BACS?

I am not sure about the Santander esaver i4 FP. But What I normally do if I need the money I moved it to my current a/c and I do FP from my current a/c. I have not need FP more than £1000 per a/c at the moment.

Thanks for the reply, might be a higher limit with a current account, but without one, i'm sure i've read a post here that it was £250.....perhaps someone can confirm?

Says the daily limit by Faster Payments is £1,000 here:
