Huge case of breaking Data Protection law. If you don't get the job then report them to the Information Commissioners Office.

So basically because you don't get your own way in getting the job you should try and get someone else in trouble?

Someone has made a mistake, it isn't great and may be worth mentioning to them at a later date so they are aware. Anything past that is toally over the top in my opinion

Believe it or not, I had to explain to someone who sends hundreds of emails a week how to use 'BCC' a few years back. Every time I received an email, I got to see all the email addresses of every Scout Leader in the County.

This person still fails to use BCC on a regular basis.

  • Somebody has told them and they've sent an e mail apologising and that it won't happen again.

Just a thought, where I work, Outlook it set to only allow 'To' and 'Cc' and not allow 'Bcc'.

  • it will allow it, you just need to click the "to" box and then add people to bcc section. it doesn't appear on the new email page as standard

My old mail was like that, it is there, think you have to click on the bar for more options
