Electrol Role help

I was bankrupt in May 2004 under an IVA.
I have not been on the electrol role since, I currently
live with my partner, and am worried of going on the electrol role at her address, in case someone comes knocking on her door, or I start getting letters sent to me, demanding money.

Just to be clear, after 1 year of IVA, I don’t owe any cash, but my credit report has not changed, the banks etc have not updated their system. What shall I do?

I also wanted to get a mortgage, even though I am in full time employment, and earn a good wage, I think im going to have to get a self cert…. do I need to be on the electrol role for this??

You have to be on the electoral roll. It's the law.

Im now on the electrol role.
Will I have people knocking on the door/letters, from debts which should have gone in May 2004??
