council tax help

hi.

my partner and i want to move in together, she is in full time uni, and i receive industrial injury benefit and incapacity benefit due to a bad accident in work but i don't get dla. will we be liable to pay all or any council tax. thanks in advance for your help.

    full time students don't pay council tax, so you will pay the same as you pay now.[/B]

    Your partner's student loans and grants will be used to assess any means tested benefits you receive such as CTB. However, you will receive a 25% discount if you are the only over 18s living in the property.

    It depends what your total income is and whether she's prepared to split the cost with you.
