BT Refunds

In October BT called about "an upgrade" to my line rental (my calls are with Sky). This turned out to be an offer of 24/7 free calls to landlines in the UK (he said). I specifically asked whether the package included chargeable calls to mobiles and international numbers and was told it didn't. When the paperwork arrived it was exactly that - ALL calls. I phoned and cancelled in the cooling off period. I then cancelled the line rental and switched that to Sky as well. BT then debited my bank account with £103.17 being a further quarter's line rental plus £66 cancellation fee. I phoned them on 25/11/11 and eventually they agreed it was their error and they would refund my bank account. Nothing appeared. Phoned again today to find the cancellation refund is sitting on my BT account as a credit and was not going anywhere (until I complained) and the line rental refund needs a final statement which will take 7-10 working days from now. I have been told the line rental refund might appear before I get the final statement but I'm not holding my breath. BT are a disgrace. They seem to think their customers are either stupid, forgetful or have so much money they'll forget what is owed.
