Should i use immersion heater?

Having an immersion heater and the cost to run it makes you think, do you really use all the hot water it produces, unless you bathe everyday there seems little point in having constant hot water on tap. As there appears to be only two people in the house I would boil the kettle for washing up dishes and having a wash. If you cant live without the hot water then turn the themostat right down to minimum, I find this hot enough, why heat it up then have to add cold water to it cool it down to use, our immersion only goes on when we have the grandkids round. We used to have a timer on ours but its better to switch it on when you need it, and set a timer on your phone to switch it off.0

Contacting your electricity supplier asap and have them swap your billing to normal rate i.e. NOT night rate any more, will save you a fair few bob.0
