  • Cookery bundle- I received Masterchef Kitchen Bible, Gordon Ramsay Chef for all seasons, Archers Country Kitchen, Good Food 101 Student Dinners, Good Housekeeping Chicken Recipes. Pleased with the first two, Archers one a bit odd, other two are paperbacks but will be ok gifts, generally good value.
Also got the teen girls selection which was a bit young, ordered for a 14 year old, thought they would be better for a 12 year old. And I ordered one of the fiction collections which I was disappointed with and thought it didn't reflect the titles used as examples.
  • I have just got my selection and am delighted. A real mix of books in the best sellers pack and the cook books are great. In all, about £200 RRP of books for £15.98 total. Will be great for presents and some for me. Thank you OP.
  • I have just had my second lot of pre school books, mr men bundle (5 mr 5 miss) and a cookery bundle. Still waiting on another child bundle and another cookery bundle. Hopefully that will come on monday as got both dispatch emails on the same day.

Equally as delighted with the pre school bundle as I got a completely different selection that the last lot.

In the cookery pack I got Hummingbird Bakery Cupcakes (small one), Delias Complete Cookery Course, Good Food Soups, A big think cake decorating book (excellent as been wanting one) and another one that I cant remember but by a chef I have heard of.

I thought the cookery bundles were three books??

Does anyone know whether you receive a text or email when your items arrive in store and are ready for collection? (So far I've had an email saying they've been despatched, but this isn't overly helpful alone!)

I called into my Smith's on the offchance about a week after receiving the despatch email and my bundle was there. They told me they never phone to confirm as it would take up too much of their time!

Ooh now I'm tempted to get another bundle!

My first preschool was exceptional value. Three were suitable for 0 - 1, three from 1 - 3, and four for 3+.
  • We collected our yesterday - thrillers for me, had only already read one and it has given me an interest in a new author already, good mix of current titles.
DD's SCiFi and Fantasy was a bit heavily biased towards fantasy, all massive paperbacks, but some to read and some to give as gifts
All round a great gamble which paid off for us, thanks OP
You never know how far-reaching something good, that you may do or say today, may affect the lives of others tomorrow
  • Yes it did say cookery bundle was 3 books but they sent me 3 hardbacks and 2 paperbacks!
  • Thanks for this,
just noticed the Jaqueline Wilson bundle had come back in stock so i have ordered them for my dd and the 20% off code still worked for me as well! So 5 books for £3.99 store collection :j
  • I just ordered a load of bundles, mostly kids books, 75 books in total for £52 something pounds, but I accidentally ordered it all twice!

I called Smiths and they could't cancel my order, how embarrassing, I will have to trudge to a Smiths store with 75 books to return! (unless there are some really good ones that will be good as gifts)

BTW the 20% discount code is still working.

My husband will go mad when 150 books arrive at our house!

Mine didn't actually seem to be bundled, so you might be able to pick which ones you take back?? (I also didn't seem to have a note specifying which books were from which bundle!)
