Also, a lot of theinformation that you need is here on the Immigration website for Canada.

How many times have you been? Do you have any family there?

My fiancee has cousin's over there & we are planning on going over this year at some point, just trying to get some cheap flights to go visit.

But we have looked into the housing / school / jobs available & really like New Brunswick I have heard that you can either be sponsored to gain access or can gain access via qualifications, but I'll check the info that you've given me thanx a lot!!

Thanks both of you going to go home & have a right look through it all tonight as well as getting in contact with the Canadian Embassy about the procedure's as by the looks of things it can be a long drawn-out process, so may as well get all the info sent through to me just now.

Larkyboy, don't blame you wanting to emigrate there. Quality of life is much better. People seem less stressed. Everybody can afford big houses as houses are very cheap there compared to here. Eating out is cheap and everything seems better than here. I think the only downside is the winter, but once you're used to it, i think it doesn't really matter. Good luck to you

Just beware of Canadian employment law - as I understand it the minimum entitlement to holiday etc is alot lower than here. This is based on speaking to Canadians when I was last out there though, so I am sure you can find some definitive guidelines on what you could expect as a member of the Canadian workforce...

You're quite right. On average people only get 3 weeks per year.
